Hello, a friend of mine who wants to collect Nigella genus species, who could tell me where she can purchase plant or seeds? Thanks in advance!

I mentioned the other day in the NARGS Forum that we see fewer of these plants nowadays, when they used to be very popular annuals.
As to a range of species, I suppose the commercial seed companies will still stock both the ornamental flower types such as N. damascena and hispanica and the species bred for edible seed like N. sativa.

I sell two forms of Nigella papillosa, 'African Bride' and 'Midnight'. £2 each at www.specialplants.net (http://www.specialplants.net). Hope this isn't too late, Derry
