Just started flowering a few days ago.
Lovely little plant.

Looks very much like my D. cashmerianum. Lovley yes, but beware,, mine was well behaved in the beginning, but after a couple of years it started to spread rapidly by roots. It needs to be kept under control.

The seeds in fact came from you several years ago.
I have some other dwarf delphs in the same area and wasn't sure which was which.
Thanks for the warning too, luckily it is planted in an area where it wouldn't matter if it spreads quite a bit, in fact I will be delighted if it does.
It can fight it out with the native violets I cannot get rid of.

Maggi, it is survival of the fittest in my garden. ;D
They would look pretty flowering together.
Most of the violets are white and have pretty big flowers.
Pity they are so rampant.
