Hi all, I have several fat pseudobulbs of P. maculata, at least one showing a small flower bud. However, I can put them now either in a garage-box with 5C (nights) to 8-10C (days) with a fan, or in a room at 16C (nights) to 20C (days) without a fan. Which is the best option?
Thanks again, Hans

Hi Hans,
I mean P. maculata prefers warmer conditions, so 15°C and more in winter.

Thank you!

Now I have put my plants at higher temperature 15-200C, I'm not sure of how to treat them. Little misting every day or keep dry? (humidity is on the low side where they are now). Repotting or not? Do they need their "cold-treatment" or do they like 15-20C througout winter?
These questions are not properly answered in both the Cribb/Butterfield and Torelli books, so I'm a little bit confused on it...
Cheers, Hans

Hans,
I mean they like 15+°C throughout the winter, too. Because these higher temperatures keep them not too dry! They have new roots very early, so they need more humidity.
