Could anyone assist with the identities of these two plants photographed on a Spanish beach please?  (Near Malaga).

Hi Cliff, don't tell me that you did not recognize a Gazania flower  ???   :P :-X
And number two must be Lotus berthelotii, which you should try as plant in a hanging basket. Flowers all summer and is beautyful.

Sorry Luit,
I knew it was a Gazania, but was wondering if it was a species (G. rigens perhaps) or an escapee garden hybrid?
Your second identification seems to suggest that these have both escaped from a planter or garden display as they were growing side by side near the beach wall.
Many thanks for your help and kindest regards from all your friends in Lancashire.
