A photo review of the show.
The Best in Show award was awarded to Edrom Nuseries, Coldingham, Scottish Borders for a truly stupendous display.
As it is a spring show I'll start with bulbs

Goodness gracious me! When those Yorkshire folk give a trophy they don't mess about do they? What a smashing silver cup..... seldom seen bigger or better. :o
Well deserved, I'm sure, since Edrom always put on a good show. And all the better for them, having had a tough time lately with family illness to cope with.

...note the bookish garden and the homage to Blue Peter...

and finally...
I can truly recommend a visit to the show. It has something for everyone (and every type of gardening interest) and if you feet get tired then you can always relax and listen to one of the six bands that play throughout the day (jazz, blues, silver, brass but not pop or rock).

I do like to see some forward planning.... this lady is very thorough!

An extraordinary variety of plants and displays.... and all so early in the year.... a real treat to be taken round the show, Frazer.... many thanks!

Was going to go this year, but didn't get around to organising myself grrrr. I love that show, its my favourite of all of them. Bravo Edrom, yet again!!! Sad though, that there is to be no alpine show there this Saturday.... but I can understand why its been discontinued. We, the people who bring plants, can't leave them there all week, and they, the show co-ordinators, can't afford to 'waste' a tent for four days until our Saturday show. Never mind, it was nice while it lasted....

Many thanks for a great report Frazer, the effort is much appreciated, I almost feel as though I was there :)

Frazer, I enjoyed your pictures of this great show with so many diverse plants and flowers . Thanks for showing here!

A real "tour de force" there Frazer, taking and then posting so many images. A great view of what is obviously a very big show, for those who couldn't be there. Thank you very much. :D
