Title: Primula auricula

Post by: Palustris on April 01, 2012, 08:50:28 PM: Old Fashioned looks about the right colour combination, but it looks less double to me. The Nymph one has less of the purple colour than mine and is more double. Thanks for trying.

Am most impressed with your research skills, but sadly none of the ones shown match the plant, as far as I can see. They seem to be all fully double and I would describe this one as being semi-double.
I grow a fair number, but I am sure this one was bought, either at a G/C or a Show and sold just as P. auricula. All the others I have are properly named.
