I know what this is, but does anyone know which particular one it might be?
TIA
-
I thought at first it might be 'Cameo'.... but perhaps yours has too much colour in the back for that? :-\
See here for a picture of 'Cameo' to compare :

Eric, I was just looking on the NAPS Site to find some email addresses I could send you of people who might be able to help when I came across a picture of Border Auricula 'Old Fashioned' which to me looks very similar to yours. Try this Link and scroll down the page to find the picture.

Try this:
Primula auricula 'Nymph'

Old Fashioned looks about the right colour combination, but it looks less double to me. The Nymph one has less of the purple colour than mine and is more double. Thanks for trying.

Eric, some more I gathered before sneaking off to watch a whodunnit!

Wow Wow and double wow!
Will check these links out later when I am dressed.
-
Eric, just a thought..... if you grow quite a few auriculas.... might this not be a seedling ?
-
Dressed, went for my walk, stood and watched some larks and came home. Am most impressed with your research skills, but sadly none of the ones shown match the plant, as far as I can see. They seem to be all fully double and I would describe this one as being semi-double.
I grow a fair number, but I am sure this one was bought, either at a G/C or a Show and sold just as P. auricula. All the others I have are properly named.
Thank you again for you efforts.

Primula aricula blue night.

Michael,
Are you questioning as to whether that is the right identity? Whatever it is it is gorgeous!!
