Title: Iris Katharine Hodgkin Dark Form
Post by: Rob Potterton on February 17, 2012, 07:28:58 PM
Hello
Last autumn we obtained a small number of this named bulb, now in flower today as photographed below.
I'm left scratching my head ...... is this virus??
There was a brief discussion back in 2007 on this forum with no definite conclussion.

Does anyone know the history??

I am sure that they are all not!!
For the original x see the BISSG newsletters recently published.
Obviously over the years some ( maybe most?) have acquired virus, but certainly some do not appear to have contracted it. To say they all have it is surely to generic?

I got mine from Dirk Schnabel (Udo) in 2008 I think so he may know more about it. I haven't got it to flower yet!
