Title: The Weir Garden near Hereford
Post by: Palustris on February 08, 2012, 06:03:48 PM
Has anyone been this year. We are hoping to go on our way home from Caerleon (weather permitting!). Only ask as we have been to Attingham Hall today and the Snowdrops there (all G.n.Flore plena) were barely showing above ground. My G nivalis here are well up. TIA.

I've driven past the gate many a time but never visited. Must put that right one of these days.

Actually no. We were blown away by the variety of Snowdrops growing there. I did take a lot of pictures of individual ones, but the photos did not come out so I cannot show them.
Now Attingham where we did go yesterday have a lot of Snowdrops, but as far as we could see, they are all double ones.
