A wonderful time of year to get away from the Moscow winter, Oleg!
And a good time for Florence... perhaps the Uffizi Gallery is less crowded at this time?

For those who like museums it is quite a time to visit Florence. No queues, no crowds even in the Uffizi. Trattorias in the evening are a bonus.
I couldn't resist a temptation in the garden to pick up several fruits of Juglans nigra (Black Wallnut) for their wonderful smell. Now the smell of Florence for me.
