Here are some Saxifraga flowering. This year the youngest plants are flowering before mature ones, i've never seen that before. Strange winter compare to last year.

Very nice Yann. No flowers on any of mine yet.
-
David i grow my sax in a greenhouse, that's the reason of earlier flowering
-
So do I Yann, that's why I'm worrying :(
-

i've been traveling to Northamptonshire on monday and was surprise how perennials are still dormants (normal status for season) compared to north of France. In my garden some bearded iris flowering!!! it's now frozing -7c and gonna be a disaster for several species.
Nothing to understand, except nature can't regulate biological rythms due to weather's changes.
-
Sax. Jan Neruda, a robust, easy and free flowering Hybrid
Sax. Verona, not always easy to please.
