I grew this from seed as Massonia jasminiflora. offsetts and is evergreen. The buds have taken months to start opening.
-
This Massonia depressa has brown speckled leaves as they emerge, turning dark olive green with just faint brown speckles later. The Massonia jasminiflora with pustulate leaves doesn't change colour instead.

lovely specimins Angelo

Superb Angelo !
From seeds ?
-
yes Fred, I raised them from seed (Silverhill)

Angelo really well grown. Mine have struggled this year :'(

Is this M jasminiflora evergreen for you Angelo?
-
well done Angelo :)
-
no Peter, they are strictly winter-growing in my climate
-
The one I pictured earlier is evergreen. It still has an old leaf on it now which you can see in the picture. If it gets too dry in Summer the greenfly attack it.
-
Even when the flower is passed I still think the Massonia is still nice.
