This poor thing was spotted in the supermarket, the tip had already been broken off and someone took pity on it and bought it. Last night they gave it to me and asked if I knew what it was (as if!). I love the shape of the leaves, can anyone help me with the identification please?

my guess is Senecio kleinioides.
