Irish and especially good ones from now on - of course, snowdrops received from friends are immediately special.

G. 'Ruby Baker' is one I have been on the lookout for. It was listed earlier in the year by one of the suppliers, Kent Lass told me of it, but it was quite expensive.

Here, a friend told me during the week that she had two snowdrops which she had received from Keith Lamb and they were seedlings in Keith's garden. These would be especially treasured - see my post of G. 'Castlegar' in the December thread.

How good? Has anyone seen plicatus 'Castle Green Dragon'? Might be good for breeding purposes. I have my own seed-raised green tipped plicatus that I'm using for crosses, but another one would be useful if it's a good one, to inter-cross with mine as well as other green tips and virescents.

Not in the flesh, but even then I wouldn't bid for one, I'd rather I was quoted a price.

No, no Lesley, after ordering from the snowdrop catalogues that should be poor (as in penniless) ;) ;)
