Title: Bulb from North America 2011 !

Sprekelia formosissima is flowering now which seems a bit early - maybe because we had such a wet summer preceding a "normal" winter?

This patch hasn't flowered for many years as it's usually too dry, but I notice the clump further down the garden [where it gets watered during the summer] is also in bud. This is the first of half a dozen buds to open.
