One sight seen in Bruges absolutely tickled us to death and caused very strong language to be used (in private ofcourse) regarding the following pictures. I have to say that none of the 6 of us are pet lovers which perhaps accounted for our gobsmacked amazement. I don't want to upset any forumists because I know a lot of you are devoted to pets, but we thought this was going a bit far. The animal in question even had it's own teddy in the vehicle. ::)

I can see why you didn't put this in the wildlife section, Shelagh!
I do know someone who used an old pushchair for a child to be able to get an old blind dog more easily and safely through the streets to an open park where he could have a run in the open... but this does seem a bit excessive...... ::) ::)
One hears of folk regarding their pets as child substitutes (I'm saying nothing!!) but this couple seem to embody that wholeheartedly. :-\
Shudder to think what that fancy buggy cost! :P

Maggi I had to run to get in front of the woman to get the final picture, when she saw me she didn't look terribly pleased. ;D

Those crazy Belgians ;) Although, was the flag in the first picture attached to the "Pet-cab"? That's no Belgian flag ;D
-
Not only Belgians Wim, one of our customers does the same with her dog, it has even a little water can like for hamsters to drink in its "pet-cab" ;D

Aha, Wim the archeologist shows he can not only decipher ancient clues! That flag tells a story... but is it a Dutch flag, a simple red, white and blue, or is there a hidden crest in the centre... for Croatia? ??? ???

Pure discrimination !
The second dog (see photo 1) has to walk !!!!! :o
Well Shelagh, I told you Bruges is a great place - they do everything to entertain British tourists ! ;D ;D

;D ;D ::) I think these things are hilarious....you can love your pet, but this is absurd, soon they'll have to give them medicines against cardiovascular diseases caused by lack of exercise ::) ::)

Are they not all the same dog? I thought it was allowed out for a short period, when it wouldn't get its feet wet or dirty.
We have a TV ad here at present where a family has done off to Australia for a holiday, leaving Granny at home to babysit the dog, a pugnacious little body with a snarl on its face. They arrive home to find Granny has clad it in bright pink clothing and a large pink satin ribbon attached to an ear!

Well spotted about the flag Wim and yes Lesley they are all the same dog.
