Gail, my daughter, bought this plant from a craft fayre stall.
It had no lable, but when she asked if it would be OK in the rock garden she was told it would be.
Thanks ;D

Echeveria

It's an Echeveria, maybe secunda var. glauca but there are many hybrids. It's definitely not hardy in my garden in Gloucestershire.

Gosh, it's hardy as old boots here but then we've only have a couple of degrees of frosts all through a short winter. Maybe she could try it in a pot or tub on a doorstep?

there's a term "porch plant". It should be hardy in the UK in a tub where the rain dosen't get it in winter -unless its a winter like last year!
I have grown some echiverias in rockerys in Derbyshire and had them survive eight or ten years, but mild damp spells alternating with frost kill them off in the end
