Title: Papaver suaveolens
Post by: PaulM on August 11, 2011, 07:59:59 PM
I have this small Papaver suaveolens plant from SRGC seed ex, which actually came into
flower during its first growing season, but I wonder if it is P. suaveolens, which seems to be more orange ?

Hi

I would say it is perhaps papaver alboroseum. By me most of the flowering stems are often growing sidewards more than upwards, a feature I see on the 2nd pic.
Colour also seems to match with P.alboroseum
