Title: Höllengebirge, Totes Gebirge

On my birthday and the following days I was collecting seeds in the Upper Austrian Alps and I have taken some photos. Is an interest in those photos, although autumn has started very early this year (some ordinary flowers)?

Saxifraga aizoides (Totes Gebirge, 2000m)-wonderful yellow flowers)
Gentianella (austriaca (2x)
Daphne mezereum var alpina (Höllengebirge, 1800m)
Dryas octopetala
Campanula
Gentianella austriaca- a very strong plant (Höllengebirge, Rieder-Hütte, 1700m)
? Is not an Saxifraga!
An unusually Campanula with a blue and white flower!

Primula auricula (2x, one root and 6 (!!) Primulas)

What a delightful way to spend your birthday, Hans! And there is nothing "ordinary" aboutthe flowers... they are all too lovely to be ordinary! Super photos too, the mountains look wonderful. Thank you!

Lovely shots Hans.  The unidentified one in the last batch is Anthyllis vulneraria probably ssp. alpestris and silberdistel is Carlina acaulis ssp. acaulis.

Totes Gebirge seems like a pretty lively place plantwise. ;D
