Good question.... here is the website for the place.. http://www.gloucestershirelaunchpad.ac.uk/
......all sorts of courses but I can't see any for aerospace technology or rocket science..... :-\

The lasting memory I have of Tewkesbury is staying the night with my late friend Tom Tewksbury (yes, no second 'e') from New York. We were on our way to stay with the MD of Worldwide Butterflies and decided to break our journey, arriving just in time for choral evensong. Alas, there was some race meeting on nearby, so the hotel price list was fictitious! >:( We paid through the nose for the twin room, or was that short head? Tom was tickled pink as he'd never been to the UK before - well, never actually needed a passport until he decided to visit me, leaving his wife and daughter back home.

Problem is Maggi Martinr had sussed out the pub for the regulatory lunch and now I don't know where we'll go.
-
Holy Moly.... I had no idea the situation was so dire :o Maybe a posh picnic is in order?
-
Fear not.......the new venue is still walking distance from the same pub 8)
-
WHEW ;D
-
It poured with rain most of the day here in Aberdeen.... if it was the same in Tewkesbury the lunching Piglets could have got very wet on their walk to and from the pub.... :-\

Warm with sunny intervals over the lunch break. It did tip it down for a while mid afternoon but was kind enough to stop before packing up time :) Piccies to follow when the gardening (and the grand prix) are finished. Farrer went to a sumptuous pan of Cyclamen purpurascens

Some pictures from yesterday
Alstromeria hookeri
Anagallis tenella Studland. marvellous plant with a sweet smell which was unlucky enough to share a class with the Farrer Medal Plant of Cyclamen purpurascens
Eucomis lelia
Goodenia heteromera, always something you've never heard of at a show!
-
Goodness me, until that little yellow Australian turned up, I thought there had been a secret commandment for the exhibitors to "think pink" ! ;D
The Anagallis is in good order , isn't it.... :o

Gypsophila aretoides caucasica with 40 flowers ;D
A Lewisa cotyledon hybrid in section B which was being coveted by a number of us.
Lewisia rediviva hybrid

Rebutia aylostera

And that's it from me.
