Yesterday we took a trip up a mountain here in my area. This mountain has a lot of limestone and is well known for hosting may different species. I want to give you an impression of what you can see in North Norway:
Through the mountain birch forest, and the plants we saw there:
Betula pubescens ssp. czerepanovii
Cornus suecica
Moneses uniflora
Pyrola minor
Pyrola rotundifolia
Trollius europaeus
Dactylorhiza fuchsii
Trientalis europaea

Getting higher:
Above tree line
Endless Dryas fields

Other plants in the Dryas fields:
Antennaria alpina
Astragalus alpinus
Bartisia alpina
Cerastium alpinum
Chamorchis alpina
Coleoglossum viride
Erigeron acer
Gentiana nivalis

Mountain view and more plants:

At the top,, a little windy
Pinguicula alpina

Saxifraga oppositifolia,, almost fowered over but some very few left where the snow had been staying long.
Silene acaulis, also almost over flowered

Thank you, actually the water you see is a fjord, not a lake.

Some super pics Magnar and some super plants. Don't think one can better the Dryas. Seeing those wonderful spreads of Dryas reminds me what a wonderful choice our founding fathers made for the emblem for our club.
