My Lapiedra martinezii is flowering today ;D
Thanks to two nice friends from which I have received this plant ( C+S ) ;) ;) ;)
I'm not shure it is the normal times for flowering ....maybe my plant is thinking it is fall :-\
...we had a unusual warm and dry April + May ....and now it is cool with a lot of rain
Enjoy

Beautiful but sooooooo small flowers
I collected for a friend some
they are much more widespread
as mentioned in the flora's
I found them even at Nerja
400 km south-west from the known places
the leaves can be beautiful
with a nice stripe like some Galanthus have
maybe good parent for crossing
do you have striped leaves too ??

I honestly keep my Lapiedra very very slightly moist during dormancy ESPECIALLY if they're not mature plants as they don't have enough to sustain themselves!
I know a lot of people preach that they keep their bulbs bone dry during dormancy, I water very miniscule amounts every once in a while to make sure the bulb stays plump and hydrated and to keep the roots from dessication.
