Title: Another ID: Phyteuma
Post by: JPB on June 03, 2011, 10:16:12 PM
This plant was collected in the Spanish Pyrenees at 2000m.
Clearly a Phyteuma, but which species?

I would say P. orbiculare.

I grow some kind of phyteuma from seed labeled P. orbiculare.  It looks quite different.  Does anyone have any thoughts?

I also have potted plants from seed of what is supposed to be P. orbiculare, P. scheuzeri and P. sieberi.  What do you think of these?
