On the way home from the Nelson Alpine Garden Society Study Weekend, Dave an I felt the need to unwind on a overnighter into Isolation Hill.
I know this area ( Sawcut Gorge )gets posted every year, but it's so awesome there, I had to share some shots!

Nice pictures Doug, it looks as though the weather was not that brilliant otherwise the white glare of the limestone in the gorge would have blown out all the highlights - good for photography though.

Hello David
The temps warmed up as we made our way down the gorge ,so much so i felt overdressed in baggy shorts and polyprop teashirt.
Came across this fella earlier on warming up in the morning air.
A meditating modern mountain man :o :o :o
All i could think of at the time was the lyrics to one of the Beatles songs
"The Magical Mystery Tour
is waiting to take you away
waiting to take you away"
Sorry Doug ;) just couldn't help myself.
Cheers Dave.
