Title: In habitat site visit 2011- Anacamptis (orchis) morio
Post by: SteveC2 on May 17, 2011, 07:42:12 PM
Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours at my Lincolnshire green wing venue, looking at all the different colour morphs.  As with many orchids the sunny weather has advanced the season and some were going over, but enough good ones remained to make a little gallery.  I think that my favourite is the last.

Very exciting to see the variation of these little wild plants.
Choosing a favourite would be like trying to choose a favourite child..... not entirely fair.... but gw4 is lovely!  ;D
