Title: Pulsatilla alpina apiifolia?
Post by: Stephenb on May 08, 2011, 12:34:45 PM
Last time I posted a picture of what I received as Pulsatilla alpina apiifolia, it turned out to be Anemone multifida. Now this plant has flowered for the first time quite near the Anemone. Is this one correct - has a distinctive blueish colour on the reverse:

Hi Stephen,
You have got a fine example of Pulsatilla alpina (not apiifolia which is distinctly yellow).  Enjoy ... it's a beautiful plant.
Cheers,
Cliff
