Hi Hans
Another lovely trip, you are so lucky getting to go to these wonderful places. The view from the bungalow is so lovely, it would have been nice sitting there with a glass if wine in the evening. I could see myself there :D
Love the Asphodelus, wouldn't mind that in my garden. ;D
Angie :)
-
Hans, your trip looks like to be very fructuous, with a lot of plants, food and people.
Many thanks for sharing the pictures with us!

Yes - we love this area ...
but why only with one glass of wine ?
I'm not shure with Asphodelus ....but I have seen those plants ( maybe a other species ) also in the Alps ...so you could try it ...

Wonderful plants and a great report Hans 8)
What is the red plant in front of the Amelanchier?
Could it be carob, Ceratonia siliqua?
-
Ashley :
it look as it is a branch from the Amalanchier ....it has not any leaves
I know Ceratonia from Spain -thats big trees with this typical fruits ..
If I will go again in this area so I will look !
-
Yes carob would be evergreen, but I very much doubt it's Amelanchier.
Pistacia terebinthus perhaps?
-
Ashley - I dont know ....maybe ?
