No topic for this genus so I'll start it with the first flower on my Calanthe tricarinata.

i think this is the only one of mine which will flower this year also a

The Calanthe season has been quite good already, C. sieboldii about to go over but C. tricarinata still holding its own.
My calanthes share their growing space with Odontoglossum pulchellum, not a terrestrial but enjoying the same conditions. This one is very fragrant.

C. tricarinata is one of most hardy species and really nice. Maren, love your C. sieboldii and you odontoglossum too.
Here Calanthe hancockii is flowering now.
