I hope this thread may be the first of many to showcase the artisitic talents of forumists.... I know that many of you are painters and it would be so good to see some of your work.... especially if it includes flower paintings. :)
You may remember seeing SRGC member and registered forumist, Eileen Goodall and her painitngs mentioned in various show reports from Edinburgh...... most recently this year here :

I have prevailed upon Eileen to take photos of some of her works to show them here in a larger scale than was possible in the Show pages.
Most of these were taken after the paintings were mounted and framed so there is some glare from the glass on them but I hope you will be able get a feel for Eileen's watercolours, nonetheless.
Many thanks to Eileen for sending me the photos!

Absolutely beautiful, what a real talent.
Speaking as one who's artistic talent could be measured in a lilliputian egg spoon I think we should also have a page for the artless ;D

Dear Maggi, what a triumph for the Forum. 8) Eileen's pictures are treasures indeed, even on a computer screen. I still would choose the sweet peas I think, that I admired in the show report. I hope other painters and perhaps embroiderers will show their work here.
