Some pics from a visit to Lanhydrock yesterday.
This batch some general garden shots.

More from Lanhydrock.
It was a little early for the Bluebells with the meadow areas just beginning to show a hint of blue swathes but in a sheltered spot some were in flower.
A patch of Erythronium.
Dodecatheon
Lysichiton americanus (Skunk Cabbage)

..... and yet more from Lanhydrock
Tulip bedding was in great shape:-

.... and still more from Lanydrock
Camellias were outstanding but so often I take shots of large bushes which appear in significant when I download them (my lack of photographic skill!) so instead what follows are some shots to illustrate the tremendous variability in Camellia flowers.

I love these visits, David.... I'd never get there otherwise and it is pure pleasure to share your trips (here and inthe other threads) .
If you tell me this lovely place hasa good tea room I may weep.

Get the hanky out Maggi, it's excellent

I knew it! :'( Too much to hope that a place like that would only serve stale scones. :-X

David,
Your photographs remind us of our visit there two years back - AND OF THE CREAM TEAS - which were lovely, Maggi.
The selection of magnolias was particularly good,
Paddy

I should try to visit such places in spring instead of October. Looks very nice this time of year when those trees are in flower!
Thanks for showing David!
BTW did you receive my mail?
-
Luit, you know that you and Vroni are welcome here anytime. It is time you were back in the UK in Spring! :D
-
Thanks for all your photos David, here and on the other pages looks a good garden to visit at any time of year.
