Title: Erodium telavivense?
Post by: maggiepie on March 27, 2011, 08:28:18 PM
Can someone verify that this is E. telavivense?
After googling I am pretty sure it is but it would be great if someone knows for sure.
It's a pretty spiffy looking seedling.
 :)

It looks quite like this:

As the true leaves emerge, it may be easier for someone to verify?

Your seedlings look pretty much like Lori's link Helen. Maybe it will have even more purple colour in the true leaves. It's quite unusual I think for the cotyledons to have such distinct markings. We'll look forward to the flowering plants. :)

BTW, one of you Clematis addisonii seeds is up. I may see some of these flower before I die. They are Sooooooo sloooooooow!

Found another link with a seedling.

Lesley, how long since you sowed the addisonii?
They usually germinate for me in baggies within 10 weeks, I just haven't had too much success growing them on to maturity.
Same with texensis and hirsutissimas.
I keep trying though.

Helen, the label in the seed pot says Jan or it could be Jun 09! The label has faded a lot in the time. That's one addisonii and 1 glaucophylla now. ::)
