It is the most east population Galanthus graecus.
-
That road I would also like to go! ...in the spring ;)
-
Ru,
You have brought us to some wonderful places and shown us some beautiful plants in the last few days. It has been very enjoyable.
Many thanks, Paddy

This iris has found Barinov Irina. She it named - 'Grey Cardinal'
What of the given irises are worthy that them to make multiple copies. What of them are worthy to name them?
-
Amazing. Evidently a whole range of hybrids are possible from that broad gene pool. Worth collecting several handfuls of mixed seed and growing each one of the seedlings to maturity.
-
Ru,
the I. pumila variation of colors is simply overwhelming.
Thank you for showing your 'road wonders' :D
-
there is nothing more beautiful than seeing the return of life in spring.
thank you for taking the time to share this beautiful part of your universe.
-
WONDERFUL Ru,
I had never seen such variation in I. pumila. Thank you for showing them.
The ones I like the most are these:

Thanks All!
WimB, thanks, I will necessarily consider your opinion.

My goodness! Apart from wanting different flowering times, maybe, you hardly need to grow any other Iris! This could send me back to the seedlists....

Seeds, most likely, will not give stable recurrence of these features in F1. Most of them are recessive and may not appear in F1 when pollinating with pollen of plants growing in the vicinity. Vegetative reproduction is more reliable.
-
I understand you can't reliably reproduce specific individual forms from seed; if one sowed a number of seeds, from several different plants, I wonder how much of the variation you would see? Were these different plants growing near one another, or scattered over the region?
-
We have attentively examined 2 areas. Each site of length of 200-300 m, and 100-150 m of width. They grew rather densely.
-
I'll look forward to hearing more about these :)
