first Dactylorhiza is flowering this year in the cold frame:

very nice. Many of mine now have good noses showing. Most in pots died over the winter

Interesting to see your romana.  I thought that mine was really early but obviously not.  The colour of both yours and mine is much paler than I expected. Photos tomorrow.

Also a sambucina red form in almost full flower, four weeks earlier than last year.
