Welcome Steve!
A few Forumists grow this plant so I hopethey will soon come and offer their advice.
Meantime, do you know the website of the Pacific Bulb Society? There is all sorts of useful information to be found there....

I've had difficulty growing Scadoxus pole-evansii from seed here in central Indiana. They grow sporadically, going dormant at apparently random times and not in sync with one another. I've lost many seedlings during dormancy. There are still none that have reached bloom size, and my 25 original seeds are down to a half-dozen or fewer plants now. So I, too, would welcome advice on care and culture of S. pole-evansii far outside its habitat.

You seem to be selecting those bulbs that take forever to reach flowering size

Is this a SCADOXUS POLE EVANSI bulb because it does not look right anybody any idea

It does look like a Scadoxus bulb.
At least the bulbs of S. katharinae are like yours but I don't know how different the species' bulbs look like.
