I hope that's right, Alan, because that will do both  Eric and myself a favour :I have this in a trough and I cannot for the life of me remember the name!  :-[

It looks like it to me too but I really only know well the obvious ones like capitata and colensoi. Dave or David or Doug will know for sure.

My vote is also M rakiura, unless of course mine are named wrongly!

Armed with a name I looked in one of my NZ. plant books and it really does look as if that is what it is. Thanks muchly.
Sadly it has suffered very badly this winter, which is why I needed the name, to see if I can re-acquire it, if it really has gone. I do find it self seeds around in the Alpine house so there may be babies popping up before long. Fingers crossed.

Rakiura is the Maori name for Stewart Island, the southernmost of New Zealand's 3 main islands.

It is Myosotis rakiura; very easy to grow but tends to be short lived in cultivation as are most NZ Myosotis species. It seeds freely and germinates well so it is best to collect the seed and plant it if you wish to keep it.  It comes from the southern part of the South Island of New Zealand. It is naturally a plant of coastal cliff and ledges so will not tolerate frost at all.
