Title: Primula vulgaris subsp. heterochroma.
Post by: Giles on February 03, 2011, 08:30:13 PM
Does anyone know where I can get one of these, as seeds or plants?
Does anyone grow it?
Ideally I would like a nice coloured one....

A good white, Giles. Super close-up of the underside of the leaf.

Wonderful primula. Got mine last autumn from Cambridge Bulbs (yes)........ Also now in flower - lovely crisp white with a strong, coloured ring. Quite distinct from the whites that occur locally here in East Lothian among former 'estate garden' colonies of P. sibthorpii. I'll post some pics in six weeks or so when they come into flower.
