Hi Emma, look here:

lovely ;D ;D ;D thanks very much for sharing your photo :)

all my other rizehensis have a good life in a pot in a tunnel. But this poor one I lost in the ground. It is the third winter outside. A real little hero in my eyes.

Super little G.rizehensis Hans, flowering in the autumn is a great bonus. My ordinary rizehensis has dropped today. ;D
-
:) Thank you all for your friendly comments :D
I grow all my G.rizehensis outside -without any protection !

We tend to get over-excited by the named snowdrop cultivar of the moment but here is Hans J. with a Galanthus species doing something which (AFAIK) was hitherto unknown in that species - autumn flowering. In many respects that is much more interesting; congratulations Hans.

Thank you Alan ,
Yes - I confess my main interest are species Galanthus ;)
...but the problem is they are sometimes more difficould than any cultivars ( which are mostly elwesii ,nivalis or plicatus or hybrids )
Have you also seen the other autumnflowering Galanthus from today ( G.caspicus )
What you mean with "AFAIK" ? sorry but I'm not so familar with your language ;D

Yes, sorry Hans. AFAIK is one of those abbreviations used quite widely on the internet but never in spoken English. I found quite an interesting reference here http://www.englishonline.org.cn/en/node/18196 which taught me something I didn't know before.
