I'd like to introduce myself as a new member to the SRGC forum.
I've only just found this site and I don't know why!
I'm an amateur orchid grower who has a small collection of Pleione. I've been growing them for a few years with some success- if I do say so myself. I have however found the autumn flowering Pln's a bit more tricky. I guess I'll be asking advice for them again at some point if I give them another go.....
I also grow cool/ intermediate orchids of all shapes and sizes. I look forward to some interesting discussions about Pleione.
Regards,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, great to have you join the Forum.
There's lots to learn here and, I expect, if you're like the rest of us, all sorts of new plant obsessions for you to develop! 8)

Hi Kevin,
welcome and nice to have you joining us.
Autumn flowering pleiones are just as easy as the 'normal' ones, they just need it a little bit warmer. I grow mine at a minimum temperature of +5°C, they seem to like it.

Welcome Kevin,
An indication of where you garden might help fellow members to give advice or understand your methods.

Thanks for the words of welcome!
I live (and garden) in London, UK.

I join the others in welcoming you Kevin. Especially as you are a Pleione grower :)
Hope to see photos of your collection posted here in the not too distant future.
