Yesterday I found these fungii on a tree stump in my garden. Don't think, they are edible, but would
be grateful for identification.

Very beautiful Rudi, like some flamenco dancer's dress. I can imagine them shaking madly with that wonderful wild music, clicking heels, snapping fingers and castanets. ;D

Probably Flammulina velutipes.

PS This is the same fungus as enokitake,

But remember, don't eat it if you are not 100% sure it is correct.
And identifying mushrooms from pictures is not safe!

Lesley and Hoy, many thank for the quick replies, dont be afraid-I don't plan to eat these fungi.
I rather want to enjoy life and the forum community also in the coming years but fear, that I cannot
break Lesley's record in posting.
