As it is a 'Grey Day' here, ...... and recovering from good food over the past few days .... I thought that I would inform members that Spring appears to be on the way in the Northern Hemisphere as my Pleione Confirmation is pushing new leaves ever higher!
So much for winter rest!!

I notice that Pl. maculata is also begining to show leaf!
Admitedly these are kept in a much warmer part of my greenhouse with minimum temperatures of between 10 and 15 degrees C so maybe they will have an extended growing season for 2011. A light overhead spray once a day is all they get, (if they're lucky!).
Best Wishes for 2011
