Wow, Giles, your shots really show the scale of the new crevice garden... it is quite some size. :o
I'm intrigued by the possibility that those cunning folk at Wisley are planning to make a genuine ice-house with those blocks of ice.... is there no innovation those folks won't try? ::) ;D ;)
Brave of that erigeron to have some flowers at this time, it must have felt the bulbs were outdoing it!

I think it was a bit of on the spot creativity, rather than anything else. Some of the blocks were just dumped in a heap.
