Title: Colchicum in summer
Post by: hadacekf on July 14, 2007, 08:58:12 PM
Colchicum parnassicum flowers very early in my garden this year. It is native to Greece (Parnassos, Elikon). Endemic to these mountains where it replace C. graecum. Perianth segments always tessellated.

These are very nice Franz. Colchicums in flower sounds like the beginnings of the northern autumn. Not many signs of spring down here yet. Still shivering.
