Three plants that I would like an ID on thanks.bye Ray
Pics 402 and 403 are of the same plant.
-
Number 1 looks like Ixia pumilio, Ray
I'm no expert on frits but possibly Fritillaria affinis and acmopetala?
-
Ray
I agree with Darren, 402/403 is F acmopetala.
-
yes, I agree:F. affinis for 401 and F. acmopetala for 402/403

Hi,Darren,Dave & Maggi, thank you all for the ID.
There are a couple of reasons why i did not ID 402/403 as F acompetala,
the petals have a twist to them and this flower has been out for a week, and my clump of F acompetala
is still 2 weeks away from flowering.bye Ray

I see the twist in the petals as a (possibly) temporary fluke, perhaps caused by stress or damage to the flower.... it would be interesting to see if that feature recurs in another year. Acmopetala is still my suggestion. ;)

A bulbous plant I would like to find a name for
-
Looks like a Scilla autumnalis , just going past flowering, to me......... :-\
-
Same idea like Maggi, but the foliage is smaller what I cultivated under S. autumnalis. Maybee wild collection?
-
I wonder if it is Scilla scilloides. The pinkish colour is typical and the leaf is quite broad, like Scilla scilloides leaf while I think S autumnalis has narrower leaves ... from memory :-\ Mine are at the same stage of flowering.

Yes, Uli, I see what you mean... the leaf on Luc's photo is broader..... I think then I will jump ship to Scilla scilloides, with Tony! :)
