Title: Double old Hemerocallis
Post by: gote on September 03, 2010, 12:09:58 PM
We have had a largish Hemerocallis growing in a corner for many years. It has been in the family since before the war but practically never flowered.
This year it got one stalk - perhaps because of more light and hotter early summer.
To my surprise I find that it is a double.
Does anyone recognize it?

'Kwanso' is another possibility.

Gail
That fits the description well. It is larger than most Hemerocallis grown today right?
Stephen
Kwanso seems to have darker flowers and more pointed buds

Thank you all
