Is there such a thing? A bulb imported from China (Bing, not Yi) as N. saluenensis is about to flower, and it doesn't exactly look as expected:

Misdelivery, or a freak of nature? The others turned out to be the right genus, but I haven't keyed them yet:

No, there's no orange Nomocharis. But N. saluenense is like this in the bud, opening out a deep pink, sometimes reddish. Take another pic when it's fully open.

You're right, now that it's openend it's more a bright rose red than orange:
