Title: Orchis morio.

I have been waiting for Orchis moria to flower, expecting a dark purple flower. Much to my surprise the first one ot flower turned out to be white.

a similar one I saw near Serres in northern Greece amongst countless thousands of purple ones

I've been lusting for a white one for years. How lucky you two are.

It was quite unexpected as i got it as an ordinary morio. It's a single plant but Orchis usually bulk up fairly easy, so maybe in a couple of years there'll be an extra.
