Title: Rhododendron for ID
Post by: Graham Catlow on May 27, 2010, 06:28:37 PM
Hi,
I have a Rhododendron which I bought many years ago and at a time when names didn't matter to me. I would now prefer to have a name for it.
Perhaps one of our Rhododendron experts can help.
It is possible that I bought it from Glendoick.

In case the photos don't provide the correct colour it is yellow but can look as though it is yellow/green in some lights.

Hope you can help :)

Hi Graham,
your rhodo is 'Creamy Chiffon' and American raised plant, bred by Whitney, introduced by Briggs... unknown parentage. ( that's the rhodo, not Whitney and Briggs . :-X    )

Gosh, it's years since I saw that one. I remember how excited we were when it first appeared in Jim and Jean LeComte's nursery. ;D
