Title: Anemone ID
Post by: olegKon on May 26, 2010, 07:55:47 AM
The first plants from last year SRGC seed exchange began flowering which gave me both a lot of delight as all of them are perfectly beautiful and some confusion. Can specialists identify what they really are?
1,2 look identical. They were labled Anemone palmata and Anemone decapetala which I'm sure they are not.
3 Anemone baldensis. I believe it is true
4 was labled Anemone rupicola and is rather tall (more than 30 cm). I like it anyway
5 Anemone drummondii?
6 was supposed to be Anemone caroliniana but looks A.sylvestris?
Thank you for help in advance.
Oleg

No. 3 looks like A. multifida.

A. baldensis don`t reach such high => I`ll post picts of A. baldensis from native places.

But the plants have similar seedpods....
