Title: Warton Crag
Post by: Darren on May 17, 2010, 09:17:44 PM
Warton Crag is a nature reserve a few miles north of Lancaster (and 3 miles from our house). We had a walk up there last weekend. There are lots of Orchis mascula in flower amongst other things but I spotted these dense patches of bluebells, cowslips and gorse lined up nicely with a view across Morecambe bay, towards Grange-over-Sands.

What a view! The flowers are "locally plentiful", I see!  8)
