Hello Jorge
With You we are 3 Portugueses but I think You are the only true Portuguse here.
Very nice to see orchids in the wild.  8)
I have not managed to see many just a few but hope to see more.
I am normally based in Coimbra and have there seen Orchis morio (vale de cana).
Where in Portugal did You manage to see this nice epipactis?
Hope to see more from Portugal
Kind regards
Joakim

Nice pics Jorge 8) :o
I have been to Batlahla but nerever seen any orchids.
I love the Orphys since there is only one in Sweden and so many kinds in Portugal with several hybrids.
I made a half sucsessful atempt to grow orchids in Portugal (Datylorizha and Epicaptis) but I lost several and the ones that survive is still to small to bloom but they might recover. I also gave to my sister in Law and an empolyee of my mother-in-law so some must survive!!!!!!!
I have seen wonderfull pics in an exhibision of orchids in Portugal many Orphys but noone live (in the wild).
I hope to be able to see some live next Year. 8)
Thanks a lot for sharing this lovely pics
Kind regards
Joakim currently in Lund Sweden.

I don't think I've yet seen a photo of an Ophrys that I haven't liked.  The blue patch in particular is just so striking.  Never seen them here in Aus, but not yet far enough into the orchid addiction (yet) to have struck them on catalogues I would imagine.  Beautiful picturess!!
