Title: Corydalis ID

Years ago I got this plant as Corydalis marschalliana, but I have my doubts about its naming.
Does somebody grow this plant ?

I have no idea Luc but I do like the little pink tips to the leaves. I wonder what purpose they serve? :)

I believe that some forms of this Corydalis do have upper colour like yours, Luc ( Janis will know) but see these two posts on the Forum to  see the plant in the wild in the Crimea.....pix from Dima Zubov:

I'm noticed too that the top of stem and bracts of C. cava are usually purple even if flowers are white whereas the top of stem and bracts of C. marschalliana stay usually green even if flowers are purple coloured. The tuber of C. marschalliana could be 3 cm in diameter and even larger but never concave.
So I do not see any feature of C. marschalliana (except tuber probably Smiley ) in the Gerd's specimen from Croatia.
I enclose several colour forms of Corydalis marschalliana from North Caucasus.

Dear Yuri - On all your pictures is only C. cava. Marshalliana allways is yellow, only in f. lilacinus from Caucas top flowers can be lilac shaded, but bottom in any case are beautifully light yellow.

Hi Luc.
Very well grown and looks like Corydalis maracandica to me.
As Maggi points out C. marshalliana is very similar to cava and not that far away therefore from solida, these are all woodlanders.
C.maracandica is in the leonticoides section. If your stems are all from one large tuber then it is pretty certain your plant is leonticoides section. A good indicator for maracandica is if the leaves are glaucus and the flowers fade to include muddy pink shades in the flower. I've attached a pic of my maracandica from last year and a flower ID sheet.

The stems come from one tuber and the leaves are glaucus. Corydalis maracandica must be the corect name.
I just have to wait till the flowers fade to see if they get pink shades.

Marschaliana is a cava-type.
Indeed it is maracandica.
